Mathias Bourre.
Mathias Bourre is a French-Austrian pianist, composer and sound designer. He studied jazz and world music at the CIM before spending years playing piano bars and concerts across Paris.
Contemporary music and sound exploration gradually broadened his influences and became part of his work.
He accompanies many musicians on stage as a keyboard player, including Laake, Clara Ysé and Välens, as well as poets at literary events.
In 2016, he formed CLN with his sister Sara Bourre, a writer, and released two spoken-word albums. He also composes and performs with Fine Lame (rock/spoken word).
He regularly collaborates with saxophonist Alistair Brown on jazz albums.
He also works as a composer and sound designer for theatre, cinema and numerous French and international institutions, including the Palace of Versailles, the BnF and Louvre Abu Dhabi.
He accompanies author Julia Lepère in musical readings of her novel “La mer et son double” (Éditions du Sous-sol) and produces its immersive audiobook adaptation.
Mathias Bourre will release “Miracle”, a solo piano album blending jazz and neo-classical music, in autumn 2027.
